Strong straight weathered planes rise
Through the morning mist,
Darkly forged angles of stability and strength.
Solid tin roof, transparent against the soft silver sky,
Shatters the strident morning rain,
Launching thousands of glimmering shards
Dancing in counterpoint.
A structure at once grounded and reaching.
A harbor and an aspiration.
